Learn More About Our Fabric Pumice Stone
What we love most about our Fabric Pumice Stone is that it is a natural, effective way to safely remove pills from your garments and upholstered furniture. No electricity needed, no replacement parts, and (best of all) no ruined garments.
So, how do we stack up against other de-pilling options?
Electric de-pillers work by pulling the loose fibers of the garments into contact with rotating blades inside the endcap. Unfortunately, this action all too often pulls in the woven fiber threads as well, causing holes and tearing — not at all what we want for our favorite sweaters!
Lint rollers are safe to use on all fabric types but are not very effective at removing pilling. The stickiness of the roller seldom has the power to effectively pull up pills. Additionally, lint rollers create a significant amount of plastic waste that ends up in our landfills.
The Fabric & Sweater Pumice is eco-responsible, effective, and requires no energy (except your own man-power and patience). We might be biased, but we feel it’s pretty easy to see which option wins this contest!
